S/Notify 3.0 is now considered feature-complete and has entered public beta testing.
There’s an amazing number of new features to becoming in our new major release:
Inbound decryption: S/Notify now supports encrypted replies to Jira emails, so they will be decrypted and attached as new comments to the Jira issue
Email signatures: all outgoing emails can now be signed for improved trust and security
Email anyone: emails will be encrypted, even if sent to there is no user account associated with the addressee
Per-project and per-space encryption: it is now possible to switch encryption on and off separately for each Jira project or Confluence space
Support of PGP keyrings as keystores
In addition to that, we have added many improvements all over S/Notify, like for example:
Support of the veryifying PGP keyserver at keys.openpgp.org
German localization
Automatic removal of signature attachment from incoming emails
Self-checking to verify that S/Notify has not been modified for increased security
Thanks to all who contributed their ideas and helped with the requirements analysis!
Now to make sure that all these features meet your requirements, we’d love your help to verify that we’ve done a good job.

How to Install the Public Beta
Please note that you should not use beta versions in a production environment. Our public beta versions have not been fully tested yet, come without any warranty and have no SLA. |
The procedure is basically the same as for the release version, only that the plugin is installed from our snapshots download site rather than from the Atlassian Marketplace.
The beta uses the same license management as the release version, so please obtain an evaluation license from your Atlassian account for it.
If you run into any problems, feel free to contact us anytime through our service desk!
